Bioly, put quite frankly is a mile cheaper. A typical online shop cost anywhere from £500 – £5,000 to set up, then there’s hosting (usually approx £10 per month), support (approx £50 per month), continual development (approx £100 a month). On top of this you are expected to have it redesigned every 2 – 3 years. The costs add up.

Bioly is super quick. It takes less than 5 minutes to set up. A conventional online shop you have to find a reputable website designer/developer, go through the quoting and information gathering process, wait for designs, go back and forth with the web designer for 2 months and then finally you have a shop that hasn’t even got any products on it. Adding the products is usually painstakingly boring and slow. Adding products to Bioly is as easy as adding a post on Instagram (because that’s exactly what it is)

Bioly is less complicated. there’s no need for worrying about payment gateways, PCI compliance, complicated online shop settings or website design and development. You just use your Instagram account and we do the rest.

To add a product just add a post to Instagram and follow the below format for the description:

Product Name [£999]
Product Description
[Option 1/ +£10 Option 2]

We use new lines and square brackets to identify different parts of the product information, each line has its own purpose:

Line 1: Product name and price (which must be in square brackets)
Line 2: Product description only
Line 3: Options, you can also prepend any option with an additional price (see below for examples)

For example, if you wanted to sell a Blue Silk Dress with different size options costing different amounts:

Blue Dress [£30]
Made from the finest silk
[Small/+£10 Medium/+£20 Large]
